ako pla si Jake 25 years old.medyo worried po ako nagpatest ako january 8 thank god non reactive naman po.na worried lng ako kasi may nabasa ako sa net dapat daw 6 months..last exposure ko 5 months ago po.tanong ko lang kailangan ko pa ba test ulit or hndi na?nakakaepikto po ba anti tb drug sa hiv test?hanggang ngayon depressed parin ako...

Usually the best HIV doctors in the country would recommend an HIV test 3 and 6 months post exposure to be exactly sure. 5 months is good enough but like what I said, you can follow it up with the last HIV test which is just a few weeks from now.

Any medications don't influence the HIV test because what the test tries to detect are the HIV antibodies in the body in reaction to the presence of HIV.

I know you are scared but the only way to finally end the turmoil is to take the retest. Trust me, after this you will have peace of mind :)
