Email 469: HIV Test at 5 Months

Good day po... 

 Sir last October 2012 nakipagmeet po ako sa isang guy at nakipagsex po ako nun sa kanya... gumamit naman po ako ng condom atafter 5 months nagpatest po ako sa RITM Malate... negative naman po result pero kelangan ko pa po ba paulit ang test kasi po 5 months after pa lang po? thanks po and God bless.

If you are positive that you used a condom and your last sexual encounter was 5 months ago, then you may not to retake the test anymore. However, if you still won't are worried, and for peace of mind, you can still take the test at 6 months.
