Email 481: Having Unprotected Sex

Hi Sir Pozzie.

Im XXX, 17 years-old. Natatakot po ako ngayon kasi palagay ko I'm at risk of having HIV. But the sad thing is we did it in unprotected manner. It happened last october and we did it for five times hanggang this December. Actually parang hndi rashes, parang acne sya kasi very minimal at parang may liquid na sebum nung tinry kong tirisin.

So nag sex ulit kami last December 11 po ata. After two weeks nagka-ubo naman ako. Kaya lang iniignore ko kasi taglamig naman at nagkaroon din ung ibang member of the family. I'll turn 18 on January 12 so legal age na to take it without the parents consent.

POZZIEPINOY’S RESPONSE

Hi there.

Thank you for your email.

I am glad that you already had an experience with the HIV test. However, I guess the HIV counselling didn't seep in and after your test you had unprotected sex again. There is no other way but to get tested again, and once again tell the counsellor your previous sex experience.

I am here not to judge you you, but please get protected all the time. Sex is fun. Sex is part of our lives. But please, wear a condom all the time. You are young and you have the entire world right in front on you. So please take care of your body and your sex partner.

I hope I was able to answer your concerns. Feel free to email me again if you have other questions.

Stay healthy,
Pozziepinoy
