POZZIEPINOY’S RESPONSE

Hi.

Thank you for your email. Thank you for finding the blog and getting inspiration from it. That is really is the purpose of it, to get information about HIV and AIDS, information about testing and treatment, to give hope and strength to everyone that HIV is not a death sentence anymore.

Having HIV doesn't deter you from going back to school or working again. As long as your immune system has rebounded, as long as you are taking your HIV medicines, then you will be fine. It is against the law in the Philippines for schools or employers to force you to get the HIV testing so unless you voluntary disclose your status then nobody will know. Like what I said, as long as you are already fit to study or fit to work, then you may continue doing so to pursue your dreams.

I hope I was able to give you light and encouragement. I know a lot of PLHIV like us who are now enjoying their lives and who are living their dreams. I know you will too.

I hope I was able to answer your concerns. Feel free to email me again if you have other questions.

Stay healthy,
Pozziepinoy
