About CF1 of PhilHealth

Good day.

Just want to ask a question on OHAT availment of an employed person.

Is it really necessary to submit claim form (cf1) with original signature of employer in every refill of ARV? As per PhilHealth, validation of eligibility is being done online through the Health Care Institution (HCI) Portal.

I'm getting ARV from LoveYourself Anglo. I think they have no access to that portal. Would you know what treatment hubs in metro manila have access to that portal so they wouldn't require me to submit cf1 with employer's signature? Treatment hubs that can accomodate patients on saturdays and sundays.

Please enlighten me.

POZZIEPINOY’S RESPONSE

Hi JC,

First of all, thank you for your question. Thank you for reading the blog.

When a facility is not yet accredited by PhilHealth, a client needs to bring his or her  signed CF1 to the facility. This is to ensure that the client is indeed an employee of a company. Another instance wherein a CF1 is needed is when the PhilHealth portal of an accredited hub says NO to the eligibility to avail the OHAT package. This happens when there is a delay either on the part of the employer in processing their PhilHealth remittance or a delay in the process of PhilHealth.

The Love Yourself previously has not yet been accredited however, with the release of the new advisory from the Department of Health, TLY is now accredited. This means, that it will have its own portal soon and once active, all their clients won’t have to bring the signed CF1, unless, the above mentioned second instance happened.

The facilities and PhilHealth are working hand-in-hand in making sure that service is delivered to all clients. For now, just be patient and everything will be in order.

I hope I was able to answer all your concerns. Feel free to ask me again if you have other inquiries.

Thank you, and stay in best of health.
