Hello Pozzie.
I would like to share what I am feeling right now. After being diagnosed last January 10, I still haven't gone back to the hospital probably in RITM. Lately, I have been feeling different with my body, that I had cough with phlegm maybe because of the long nights of staying up because of my thesis. But it is over now.
I would like to get the pneumonia vaccine but I don't know if they have it in RITM and how much, so I can prevent it. I might as well do it since I will be going there to start with all the lab tests including the CD4
Hope to hear from you Pozzie.

Hi XXX.
Thank you for your email. Thank you for sharing what you are feeling to me and to my readers.
First of all, please go to the HIV/AIDS Treatment Hub ASAP. If you are preferring RITM-ARG, then go there. You need to do your first steps now so you will know your health status. Don't waste your time. HIV will weaken your immune system and prolonging the labs especially the CD4 which will determine the level of your immune system will only delay treatment especially is your immune system is already weak. So please, take the next steps. This will not only help your immune system to rebound fast especially with the proper advice and prescription from the HIV doctor but will also prevent you from spending a lot of money later on.
Second, about the pneumonia vaccine, they have it in RITM. Call the clinic first if on the day you are going, they have the stock of vaccine there. Of course, your doctor will prescribe you with that but it is best to ask. You can also ask for the other vaccines that can be given to you. To be sure, you can call the clinic for the prices of the different vaccines. Click the link below:
Once again, go to the hub immediately. Don't delay it anymore. I am not here to scare you but if you are getting sick, aside from the possible prescription of HIV meds, you will be given treatment too for the infections and I tell you, those are not free anymore and are not covered by PhilHealth or the OHAT package. If you get sicker, then you will be paying for all the labs and medicines for that specific infection. So please don't wait anymore!
I hope I was able to answer your concerns. Feel free to email me again if you have other questions.
Stay healthy,
Pozziepinoy
