7 Days To Go Before TRR WAD

The countdown begins before the Project Red Ribbon Care Management Foundation, Inc (TRR) World AIDS Day (WAD) 2014 which is going to be held at Liwasang Aurora, Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City with the support of the Quezon City Honorable Mayor Herbert Bautista. The lights and sound system of the event is sponsored by actor Carlo Maceda and projector system by actor Lander Vera Perez.

The TRR WAD 2014 is themed, "Engaging the Youth in Getting to Zero" as the Foundation believes that it is about time that TRR partners with the youth in coming up with a solution to the HIV epidemic in the country since they are the most impacted population.

The WAD observance of TRR already started with the Teens day for World AIDS Day 2014 in partnership with the German International Agency (GIZ), Manila. In the event, a group of teenagers and a group of parents come up and talk about their concerns, their suggestions to each other's groups and how to work as a family in the HIV and AIDS awareness and prevention.

TRR also started it's fan sign campaigns all over the country, promoting the TRR WAD 2014 theme.

Is the 2 Month-Window Period Enough?

Mr. Pozzie. I hope you don't mind if I ask. Is a 2-months window period non-reactive result may give me at least 70% assurance that I do not have HIV? Or in your own opinion how many percent of assurance does this 2-months Test prove? Cause as I've red in your older statements. Rapid test right now are all in 4th Generation and can detect even a minimal amount of antibodies even if it's just a-month that is passed by. Is that for real sir? By the way Sir I got tested from Hi-precision laboratories. Their facilities are quite impressing And, I hope so that this also reflects with their laboratory instruments. Thanks Sir!

"How Can That Be?"

Hi,

My husband recently took GAMCA medical exam for he is supposed to work in a Middle East country, according to the GAMCA clinic referred to him, he needed a repeat of some blood tests due to some problem, so he went back only to find out that it was for a repeat of HIV test/screening because the first result was reactive. Confident that it was
all a mistake, my husband allowed the repeat just to get it over with. But the repeat showed another reactive result (reactive 1.11). he was told that they (the GAMCA clinic) would take another sample of his blood to be taken to DOH for confirmatory tests. but it will take another 3-4 weeks to get the result.

Symptoms During Window Period?

Sir gusto ko lang po sana itanong. Kailangan po ba magkaroon ka ng kahit isa sa symptoms sa loob ng window period bago mo masabi na maaaring positive ka sa hiv? Salamat po.

Sir, I would like to ask something. Does it need to have at least one symptom in the window period for your to be positive for HIV? Thank you.
