Hello po! 

 Pasensya na po s pgiging makulit.

 May itatanong po sana aq. Pwede po b mgpatest ulit s RITM Malate? Ngayong august po kasi ay 24 weeks post exposure ko na. Ngpatest po aq 4 weeks post exposure. Nung bumalik po ako for 12 weeks post exposure test ay cnabi po ng nurse n dapat ay 3 months after nung first test aq bumalik. Ganun pa man, ngppsalamat aq at pumayag cla n itest aq 12 weeks kahit d p 3 months since last testing. My sinasabi po kc cla n mkikita s system n tinest aq n wla png 3 months mula ng last test ko.

 Lately po kasi ay may mga nararamdaman po aq tulad ng abdominal pains at para po akong naninilaw. :'( Natatakot po ako n ibang std to like hbv or hcv. Nabasa ko po kasi na hanggang 6 months po ang window period ng ibang std. Khit hiv nmn po ay pwede ring hanggang 6 months ang window period kaya po gusto ko mgpatest agad para po maagapan pag my mali po.

Kung hindi naman po pwede s RITM Malate, saan po kaya pwede? Yun po sanang mura, open pag weekend at malalaman po agad ang result.

I have a question. Can I take the test again in RITM Malate? This August will be my 24th week post exposure.

I took the test 4 weeks post exposure. When I came back 12 weeks post exposure, the nurse told me that it should be 3 months after the first test. However, I was thankful that they did the test during the 12 weeks even though it wasn’t 3 months after the 1st test. They told me that it will show in their system that it wasn’t 3 months yet since my last test.

Lately, I have been feeling sick with abdominal pains and skin yellowing. I am scared of having the other STD’s like HBV or HCV. I have read that the window period of the other STD’s is 6 months. Even the window period of HIV is up to 6 months so I would like to get tested just in case.

If not in RITM Malate, where can I get the test where it will be cheap, open on weekdends and will know the result fast.

Thank you for your email. I am glad that you are sending frequent emails and I don't mind at all since they are related to my advocacy.

In response to your question, you can take your HIV test again since you are already on your 24th week post exposure. I'm sure that RITM Satellite Clinic will allow you to take the test. Just look for Nurse Nicka, Hazel or Trisha when you get there and tell them that Pozziepinoy sent you. You can also get your STD tests there. Just call ahead of time.
