Project Red Ribbon's Lifeblood: Blood Letting Program recently had an activity at the PhilHealth Main Office where employees donated blood as one of its anniversary activities. The beneficiaries of this program are the indigent people living with HIV needing blood because of the disease process itself or because of the side effects of the antiretroviral drugs (ARV), the medicines to manage HIV.


In just a week, Project Red Ribbon was able to give out 7 units of blood to 3 PLHIV clients confined in different hubs. In just a week, we were able to help save 3 lives because of the blood of PhilHealth employees. 

 Blood is precious and they can be replenished. Blood can be donated for a good cause and can save lives.
