Email 385: Having Zits

Good day pozziepinoy!

I have been reading your blog for a long time now and it is very informative lalo na samen mga positibo din.

I do have a question. Meron kasi akong pimple like sa legs ko pero paisa-isa lang naman and i know this is part of being HIV+ due to compromise immune system. It doesnt really alarm me for now since, natatakpan naman ng shorts or ng pantalon. Tanong ko lang is:

1. Is it possible to prevent this pimple like to come out? How?

2. Hindi naman masakit, makati, or mahapdi at nawawala naman after 2-3 days ang mamumula kaso may dark spots na naiiwan. Meron na akong 4, kaya naisip ko what if dumami. What if sa arms na at di na matakpan ng damit. Eto na yung tanong ko. Pano mawawala ang dark spots? Cream ba? Lotion? Soap?

It is true that some PLHIv's have skin issues. One can try any topical ointments, lotions or soaps but if nothing works, best is to consult with a dermatologist. Either you go back to your HIv Treatment hub and ask for a dermatologist or we can recommend one for you who is HIV friendly. You can call Gerald at 0917-899-0473 if you want assistance.
