Email 272: Where To Get the Herpes Test?

 Hi Pozziepinoy,

Matagal ko na binabasa ang blog mo. Inspired ako sa mga ginagawa mo. Salamat sa pagtuturo mo sa mga maraming tao. 

Ako ay nag pa HIV test na rin sa RITM Malate. Negative ang akin result. inusulat ko ang email na to kasi nagpapasalamat ako sau at meron din ako tanong. San po ba meron herpes test na malapit sa Manila? Ang alam ko kasi ay wala herpes test ang RITM Malate. Please pozziepinoy, tulungan mo ako kung saan makahanap ng hopital/clinic na may herpes testing. Mas mabuti kung marami pa na pwede itest na STD's. Gusto ko malaman kung totally clear ako sa mga iba-ibang klase ng STD's. Pozziepinoy, thank you for your time. Take care and God bless.

Thank you for your email. Thank you for reading the blog and I am grateful that it is inspiring you. I appreciate your kind words.

With regards to the herpes test, you can get it from the major hospitals in Manila. You can go to PGH, San Lazaro Hospital, Manila Doctors, Makati Medical Center, St. Lukes Hospital, The Medical City etc. You can also request for the other STD tests if you really want to. I just don't know the rates but you can call the hospital for their rates for each STD test.

I am proud of you for doing this and being proactive about your health. Keep it up.
