Posted by Pozziepinoy on 10:05 PM
Hello, when I was young i was injected with many vaccines such as hepatitis and chickenpox vaccine. Does this mean that my antibody will detect so long for hiv? Like for 5 month risky exposure i was negative, do i need to retest again?
POZZIEPINOY’S RESPONSE
Hi L,
Vaccines are preventive measures to protect our body for whatever viral infections. Now the above mentioned vaccines are nothing to do with HIV. As what I have mentioned to you please get tested for HIV regularly so we can have a close monitoring of your HIV Status.
