We all have the responsibility to tell others to take the HIV test. We know the virus. We know how it can affect one's health and life. We are knowledgeable about treatment protocols. We experienced how hard it was to deal with it.
What are we waiting for then? Are we just going to sit and watch while others still don't take the HIV test and still live our previous lifestyle and still engage in unprotected sex? Have we already informed all our friends, siblings, co-workers, ex lovers, past sex mates? Have we accompanied someone we love to take the HIV test?
We have a big responsibility. We read the HIV data, the increasing number of HIV cases in the country on the net and on mass media. Now is the time to change things. Now is the time to help. Now is the time to inform people that the HIV test is not only a test to detect the virus but a test that will empower them to take control of their lives!
