Email 650: Questions About HIV Treatment

Posted by Pozziepinoy on 4:27 PM

Hi Pozziepinoy,

Thank you to us valuable information and life experiences. Very informative and inspiring blog. May God continue to bless you and your family.

I just want to ask if medication or treatment is offer free of charge? I was diagnosed 10 months ago of HIV during my pre-employment examination going abroad. Since it was a very frustrating event, i was probably on a state of denial, i don’t have the initiative to seek for treatment. Thru your blog i realized that I need to face this challenge and move forward. I am now decided to go to one of the testing facility this week for counseling and screening.

Hoping that you can guide me along this course.

Thank you.
JL

POZZIEPINOY’S RESPONSE

Hi JL.

Thank you for your email. Thank you for the kind words about the blog.

HIV treatment and consultation is free in all hubs. However, treatment of opportunistic infections is not free. That is why we are advocating for early treatment so that the immune system is not compromised that early.

Anyway, I am glad that you would now start taking action with your health. I am happy that you want to be in control of your life and your health by seeking treatment.

If you want to be assisted in the the treatment hubs, please click the link below:

I hope I was able to answer your concerns. Feel free to email me again if you have other questions.

Stay healthy,
Pozziepinoy
