The Philippines still belongs to the 9 countries with increasing number of cases of HIV. The youth is the most impacted population. 

We have brothers and sisters who are dying because of AIDS. We have teenagers who are being evicted from their homes and committing suicide. 

When are we going to learn? When are we going to listen to the facts being reported? How long can we tolerate the HIV and AIDS stigma and discrimination from families and the community.

It is time to wake up Philippines. It is time to step up and do something about it. HIV and AIDS is not a problem of the at-risk only population but a problem of the entire country.

Inaanyayahan po ng Project Red Ribbon ang bawat isa na makilahok sa aming paggunita ng World AIDS Day na aming sinimulan noong Nobyembre 29 pa. Samantalang ang lahat ay ginunita ito noong December 1, ang TRR Foundation ay ginampanan ang kanyang tungkulin ng isang buong linggo sa pagpapalaganap ng awareness sa buong Pilipinas. 

Ang tema ng TRR WAD 2014 ay ang pag alab ng mga damdamin ng kabataan upang bumangon at tumulong sa paghinto ng paglaganap ng HIV at AIDS sa Pilipinas. Sa isang buong taon simula sa araw na ito, ang misyon ng TRR ay magiging kaakibat ang mga kabataan sa buong Pilipinas.
