PhilHealth's Blood Letting Program for PLHIV's

Posted by Pozziepinoy on 3:19 PM

Project Red Ribbon in partnership with the MDG-OHAT Team of PhilHealth will be conducting a Blood Letting Program at the MDG-OHAT Office, PhilHealth Central Office at Shaw Blvd., Pasig City from 8am to 5pm on February 28, 2017 as part of their Anniversary. PhilHealth also has asked the Foundation to give a talk about HIV and AIDS during their anniversary programs. This is under the Lifeblood Program of Project Red Ribbon, the beneficiaries of which are the indigent people living with HIV.

For the longest time PhilHealth has been a partner of the Department of Health - NASPCP with its OHAT Package Program which benefits the PLHIV community. Since last year, PhilHealth MDG-OHAT team has been a partner of Project Red Ribbon for our events and direct client assistance. This service outside the OHAT Package shows the sincerity of our PhilHealth partners in helping our economically challenged PLHIV, in this specific program, those who are needing blood as a result of the disease process or as a side effect of the ARV's.
