TRR HIV Education and Awareness Talk (HEAT) at ANZ Manila

Today, January 14, the Project Red Ribbon's HIV Education and Awareness Talk (HEAT) Team conducted its first company talk for this year at the ANZ Global Services and Operations (GSO) Manila, Inc. at the 11th floor Solaris One Building in Makati City. During the talk, the foundation discussed the following:

 1. Basic HIV and AIDS
2. The Philippine HIV Scene 
2. Signs and symptoms; Modes of transmission
3. Myths surrounding HIV and AIDS
4. Preventive Measures
5. Stigma and Discrimination
6. Life after HIV and AIDS
7. HIV in the Workplace
8. Social impact of HIV and AIDS
9. PLHIV Testimonials

The CEO and managers of ANZ joined the TRR talk. 

In the afternoon, the HEAT Team proceeded and gave another talk for ANZ Manila at the 30th floor MDC 100 Tower in Quezon City. Tomorrow, January 15, the team will be conducting its third talk for ANZ Philippine Branch at MCC Building, Makati City.

During all talks of the HEAT Team, informational materials such as the DOH flyers and TRR leaflets are distributed. TRR also distribute loot bags of sample condoms and lubricants with its partnership with the Department of Health- National AIDS/STI Prevention and Control Program.
