Cold and Flu Season

Stay Healthy!
To all people living with HIV, once again, it's the cold and flu season in the Philippines. It's hot outside during the mornings and afternoons but cold in the evening.
In the country where most take crowded public buses, trains and jeepneys, it is easy to get sick during this season.
What can we do?
As an advocate of health, The Project Red Ribbon would like to encourage all its members all the communities of people living with HIV to:
1. Regularly wash hands or use hand sanitizers.
2. Take Vitamin C daily or eat and drink vitamin C rich foods and drinks.
3. Avoid touching you nose or face.
4. If you can, wear masks in public transportation.
5. Drink lots of water.
6. If you get wet from rain, take a hot shower when you get home.
7. If somebody sneezes, get your handkerchief and cover your nose.
8. If you get sick of cold or flu, you may contact your doctor.
Health is very important. That's what we advocate for. That's what we want everyone to focus on.
In this cold season, all we can do is to protect ourselves and protect others.
