CONNECT: Linking all HIV and AIDS Services in the Philippines

Project Red Ribbon in partnership with the Department of Health - National AIDS/STI Prevention and Control Program, the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine - AIDS Research Group and Save the Children has created a new Facebook Page in social media. CONNECT is put up to link all awareness, prevention, HIV screening and testing, treatment, care and support for HIV and AIDS in the Philippines. It's mission is to create a platform where all the government agencies, non-government organizations, schools, universities, LGBTQIA and faith-based organizations can promote their HIV programs.

 In CONNECT, we will be posting:

 1. Updated list of HIV Counseling and Testing (HCT) Centers all over the Philippines

 Project Red Ribbon has been tasked to do regular updates of the HCT facilities all over the country, to be used in all information and education campaign materials that will be distributed nationwide by DOH-NASPCP, Project Red Ribbon and Save the Children.

 2. Updated list of HIV and AIDS Treatment Hubs:

 CONNECT will also provide monthly updates of the HIV and AIDS Treatment Hubs and Satellite Treatment Hubs all over the country. The Foundation, every month will feature one or more treatment hubs so that the general public will be made aware of their services and facilities.

 3. Updated HIV and AIDS Registry

 With Project Red Ribbon's partnership with the Epidemiology Bureau, the Foundation will collate the monthly registry. It will also collate specific data for a monthly comparison.

 4. Updated Support Group Listings

 CONNECT will also try to gather data on the different HIV support groups all over the country. This will help establish easy referral system.

 5. Updated HIV services of Government Agencies

 CONNECT will highlight the different services rendered by the different government agencies and how to access these services.

 6. Regular HIV information and messages about HIV

 7. Regular LIVE STREAMING of our counsellors were viewers can ask questions. 

 This is a new feature of CONNECT which will use the the current technology of live streaming

 8. Video Interviews of HIV doctors, nurses, med techs, counsellors, peer educators.

 9. Videos of Processes in HCT and HATH and Satellite Treatment Hubs

 10. Videos of Support Group Talks

 11. Posts of HIV activities and events all over the country

 And so much more.
