Saving Children with HIV Through the Duyan Program
Posted by Pozziepinoy on 8:32 AM
For the longest time, Project Red Ribbon has been helping the parents and guardians of children with HIV for the kids' medicines, milk formula, vaccinations, etc. However, because the Foundation can't give everything that each child needs, it formed its program, The Duyan: Saving Children with HIV. In this program, the Foundation monthly partners with organizations and companies to give the kids' wishlist ranging from treatment, prevention and school needs.
Last year, in 2016, 5 Organizations and government agencies sponsored the activities of Duyan:
1. Saddleback Church in South Manila
2. Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc.
3. Research Institute for Tropical Medicine-AIDS Research Group
4. Philippine Health Insurance Corporation
5. Anonymous Group of Special Educators
