Pregnant and HIV Positive

I tested hiv positive when i was 5months pregnant,the midwife did a rapid testabd came back positive and she introduced me to arvs immediately so as to protect the baby ave delivered nowand i want to go and retest since i doubt it was a genuine positive?

Of course you may retake your HIV test if you are really in doubt as it is your right and your life as well as the life of your baby. But best of all, please consult an infectious disease doctor and not a midwife. You need to be supervised properly by someone who really knows about HIV.
