Hello Pozziepinoy.

Ask lang ako about hiv testing. My posibilidad po ba magkaroon ng hiv kahit gumamit ng condom. Im here in singapore gumamit ako ng babaing bayadan thailand national cia. Lasing ako noon kaya hndi ganon katigas ang ari ko. Pero gumamit ako ng condom cguro 5mins lang ang penetration then tapos na. Wala ng sumunod dun. Last August pa po nangyari yun.
Ngayon natatakot ako baka kasi infected ako ng virus kasi simula nung araw na yun nagkaroon n aq ng rashes. Mapupula at minsan namamantal pa. Tapos minsan masakit ulo ko at nanghihina. Okay nman pangangatawan ko. Ngayon natatakot ako kasi 3 weeks n ako laging may singaw sa bibig pagkakagaling ng isa may kasunod na ulit. Di po ba sign din ng hiv yun. Ngayon nag resign na ako sa work ko pra umuwi ng pinas para magpa test. Tulungan nio po sana ako. Sana nman hndi ito hiv kc isang beses lang ako nakipag sex sa bayadan kahit sa ibang babae malilinis naman sila at mga professional.

I was drunk then and my dick was not that hard. But I used a condom and the penetration lasted only for 5 minutes. Nothing followed after that. It happened last August.

Now I am scared that I might be infected as since that day, I am experiencing red rashes. Sometimes I have a headache and gets body weakness. My physiques is ok. Now, I am scared because for 3 weeks now, I have persistent mouth sores. Are they signs of HIV? I already resigned from work to come home and to take the test. Please help me. I wish this is not HIV as it was only a one time experience with that woman who I believe to be clean and professional.

Thank you for your email. Thank you finding my blog. I am glad that even in Singapore, people are finding it and has been serving as a channel for people to reach out to us with issues about HIV.

 I know that what you are experiencing is really scary. From your story, it seems that you might not have HIV as you used a condom. However, since you were drunk, we really don't know what really happened that night. Regarding your symptoms, we won't be able to know as the HIV symptoms especially the acute or primary acute symptoms are non specific. It could be anything so the best way is really to take the test.
