Hello,
This month also I 2 times na ako na hospitalized dahil sa diarrhea wherein I read it also related to sa mga symptoms.

Hello,
I read your blog and I am depressed. I am here now in XXX and I am worrying because of my condition. Last XXX 2011, I passed my medicals.
Last XXX 2012, I came home tour country and I had a one time unprotected sex with my past partner (I am married with 2 kids). I got diagnosed with Diabetes 2 that month and while I was here in XXX. I focused with my diet and with the treatment of my DM until I lost weight, from 82 to 68kg in just 7 months. Recently I experienced some mouth problems like dry lips and I get dead skin in my mouth everyday. I had it checked with an ENT and dentist and found no problem. I felt something unusual so I read in the internet and I found out that they are symptoms of HIV. I got goosebumps and I got depressed. One more thing that's worse is that I am experiencing night sweats that I ignore before as I was thinking our AC was on low settings. This month also, I was hospitalized 12 times because of diarrhoea and I read that these are other symptoms.
You know what, I wanted to get an HIV Test here but it is dangerous because once they found out that I am positive, they will deport me fast, so I hesitated. I feel bad for my children.
You do you think about my situation. Is there a possibility that I am positive> Did you experience the symptoms that I mentioned?
Please advise. I want to have strength for my kids.
Regards,
XXX
POZZIEPINOY'S RESPONSE
Hi XXX.
Thank you for your email. Thank you for reading my blog. I am sorry that I caused your depression, however my intent here is just to inform everyone about HIV and AIDS.
Not to scare you again, but I had the same symptoms before as you are having right now, mouth sores, dryness of lips, night sweats and diarrhea. However, without any diagnosis from the doctor, still it could be anything.
The best advice that I can give you is to get an HIV Test. This will really determine if you have HIV or not. You can also have a general check up for that matter. However, I understand your current situation, so my best advice is for you to come back and do it here. It is better to be proactive about your health now, than regret it when your condition becomes aggravated and when you keep on getting hospitalized which is more expensive.
I know you are scared. But it is better to do the right thing now. Plan a trip home ASAP and I will assist you when you get back here.
I hope I was able to assist you with your concern. Feel free to email me again if you have other questions.
Stay healthy,
Pozziepinoy
