Face Your Fears!

You know that there is only one way to know if you have HIV and that is by taking the HIV test. You know that you if you keep on worrying, then you are just prolonging your agony. You know that you don't have to wait for any symptoms of HIV as HIV has non specific symptoms.

 So what are you waiting for then? 

 I understand that you are so scared that you maybe infected. I understand that you feel guilty over the things that you have done in the past. I understand that you are worried about what others may think if they see you taking the HIV test in an HIV testing facility. I understand that you think of all the things that you will lose when you have HIV. I understand that you are thinking about the financial burden that you will encounter once you have HIV. I understand that you are worried about your family and your present relationship.

 But you have to do what you have to do. You need to take the HIV test, right now!

 If you keep on thinking then it would be hard for you to take the steps. Your fears will just eat you up and will be an obstacle to knowing your HIV status. The tremendous information that you are getting from the internet also adds up to information overload that will serve as a hindrance to you in taking the test. You need to relax, shut your eyes, take a deep breath, then plan for your next move.

 Just take the HIV test. No more thinking. Stop rationalising. Stop making excuses. 

 You know that you may have been exposed to to the virus so please go to the nearest HIV testing site. They are accessible. They are all over the country. The test is a confidential testing. The staff are well trained and very professional. There is nothing to fear.  Just walk straight to the HIV testing center and just take the HIV test. Trust me, by knowing your HIV status, then you'll lay to rest all your assumptions.
