The Project Red Ribbon: August 2013

The Project Red Ribbon started it's very first outreach program today in RITM-ARG with the participation of our special guests Noel E. Bordador, Gerald Santos and Ryan Javier. 

The group started with a meeting with Dr. Ditangco, the head of RITM-ARG followed by a tour of the hub and hospital. The group, then gave an inspirational talk to a group of patients and the entire staff of the clinic. It was then followed by a short message from Dr. Ditangco herself addressing the crowd. Monetary donations to The Love Fund, HIV manuals to the clinic, and donations of boxes of cotrimoxazole from the guests were then given to the clinic. The event culminated with handing of packed lunch to all patients in the hub including patients confined in the ward and all the staff of the clinic.

 The Project Red Ribbon this August is the start of the monthly group's commitment in reaching out to patients of the different HIV/AIDS treatment hubs in the Philippines.
