hi pozzie. i have been engaging in heterosexual protected sex in casual hook-ups (i.e. wearing condom all the time). Is there a chance i can get hiv? if i decided to get tested at ritm sattelite, hos discreet will it be? may pila ba at malalaman/maririnig ng ibang tao na i am getting tested for hiv? thank you!

The HIV Test in RITM Satellite Clinic is free so expect that there will be a line there. However, the place is discreet and the staff are very understanding of how confidential everything is. Almost all of the people there go for the HIV test so definitely if you go there, the people inside would assume that you are going there for the test. But does it matter? You are after a free test and the staff there are very friendly, accommodating and non judgmental.

 You can also go to private hospitals. Like in RITM Satellite, there is a form that you have to fill out and a pre and post testing counselling. Usually the fee is around P1,500 and there will  be a shorter or no line at all depending on the time of day.
