Thank you for your email.

With regards to both the CD4 and VL tests, you must first need to have a prescription from an infectious disease doctor to get these tests. Now, the infectious disease doctor, on the other hand will ask you for the HIV confirmatory result prior to the prescription of these tests.

If I were you, I would just go to any HIV/AIDS treatment hubs nearest you and get a consultation first with their HIV doctors there. Both the CD4 and VL tests are cheaper in the government hubs than in the private hubs. Here is a list of the hubs:
