Hi. 

Syensya na po pwede po ba humingi ng favor kasi worried ako negative naman tests ko pero nakaka experiens ng ulcers sa roof ng mouth at sa loob ng cheeks. Characterstic daw ng hiv yun sabi sa nabasa ko. At minsan may mga muscle movements ako sa arms and legs. Pwede po ba pakitanong ke dr. Ditangco kung symptoms kaya ito? Nakaexperiens din kasi ko ng flu and diarrhea pero 6 months after nun eh negative ako sa test. Thank u po.

Hi.

I’m sorry but can I ask a favor because I am worried since my HIV tests are negative however I am experiencing ulcers in the roof of my mouth and inside my cheeks. They said that they are characteristics of HIV based on what I am reading. Also, sometimes there are muscle twitching on my arms and legs. Can you ask Dr. Ditangco if they are symptoms? I also experience flu and diarrhea but 6 months after I am negative in my HIV test. Thank you.

Thank you for your email.

I already ask Dr. Ditangco the same questions you were asking a long time ago. If you are negative, then you are negative. Period. Whatever you are experiencing maybe something else so you better go a seek consultation with an infectious disease doctor or if you don't know anybody, just go to an emergency room and seek consult there.
