Hi,

Just want to ask about the free HIV test being conducted in the RITM Satellite clinic.

- What do you call these test?
- How many are the test?
- How long does the test usually take?

Thank you for your email.

Let me answer your questions in the order that you asked them.

1. The two tests that are being done in RITM satellite Clinic are the Rapid Test and Particle Agglutination. The Rapid Test is first done and if it turns our to be positive there, the second test will be conducted.

2. There are two tests done in RITM Satellite Clinic.

3. The entire process involve, filling up of the form, pre counseling, drawing of blood, waiting period of at least 2 hours, post counseling with the HIV test result. The entire process will involve 3-4 hours.
