 Magtatanong lang. Kung may iniinom akong gamot, makaka apekto ba to sa HIV test results ko? Kung sakali, anong mga gamot ang pwedeng maka apekto sa test results ko?

Hi there.

Thank you for your email.

No medicine can interact with the HIV test. The HIV test is very specific to the HIV antibodies. Also, there are two tests being done to diagnose HIV, first the rapid test and the Western blot test. The first is the screening test but the second test is the confirmatory test which will finally confirm the diagnosis.
